DOMING: What is it?
CONVEX is Manual Doming System used by application of two-component polyurethane resin on label, decal or other non-porous surface. After curving it became transparent mechanical and chemical resistant.
Main applications:
CONVEX has many applications in various markets: Souvenirs, Gifts (labels, decals, keyrings, pens, magnets, broaches, pins etc.); Promotional, POS (business promotional tools, badges etc), Industrial (identification labels, equipment labels, computer badges, beer equipment decals, refrigirator and air conditioner labels, packaging etc.), Interior design (class, mirror design elements, protection elements, polymeric mosaic etc.), Textile design (thermotransfer labels, sew labels, T-Shirt, sport uniforms and equipment, bags, shoes etc.), Automotive, Tuning (labels for cars, decals for wheels, decorative elements, sew labels for interior etc.) Typical Doming label’s structure is showen on a picture:
1. Polyurethane lense (1,5 - 2,5 mm)
2. Basement (self-adhesive vynil or PET film) with or without printed image
3. Adhesive (water-based for indoor applications and solvent based for outdoor)
4. Liner (siliconized paper or PET film)
